The Una at Bosanska Krupa has a distinctive structure, with several travertin waterfalls, deep pools, fast and slow parts and has several islands. In some pools the Una here has a depths of up to 7 meters. Fishing can be done from a boat, in some places this is essential, other spots may also be well fished from shore. During the warmer months (June to September) mainly fishing at night is particularly promising.

One- or two-handed rods Class 10 or higher, sinking lines or shooting heads with 400 to 500 grains and different sink rates, strong, long enough backing (min. 30 m). Reel dimensioned accordingly to the rod. Llarge streamer with up to 20 cm in length with a large volume and low water absorption (synthetic material is an advantage here). The hook size should not be less than 2/0, only strong wired, sharp hooks are suitable. We prefer to use barb-less hook sizes 3/0 to 4/0, extra long streamers should have a tailing-hook on the rear third of the streamer.
Some of our most important rules to protect our valuable fish:
Catch and release only!
Each fish caught is released gently!
We recommend the use of barbless hooks!
The fishing is done with suitable equipment (adequately dimensioned, with appropriate strength and in good maintenance condition)!
