It rises imposingly directly from a steep cliff with a water volume of about 200 cubic meters per second on average. If you stand at the source this amount of water is flowing like out of nowhere from the massif. The river meanders over a length of about 6 km towards the village of Bosanska Krupa, where it then flows into the Una. In this river the grayling is the main species but there is also a good population of brown trout, the rainbow trout is more rare.
Water characteristics:
The upper part of the river is like made for the fly. With a width of approximately 10 m and an average depth of 2 m you can find beautiful slow flowing ridges with occasional larger boulders.
The grayling is the main species here, but there is also a good population of brown trout. Rainbow trout come here rather rare, but can nevertheless reach good sizes.
Fishable species:
Brown and rainbow trout, grayling
